When: August 19, 2017
Where: DRHC Arena at Carpenter Park in Washington, VT
Clinic Description: This clinic is going to be a de-spooking clinic. There will be groundwork in the morning, a break for lunch, and under saddle work in the afternoon. The goal of the clinic is to help the horse become more confident around scary objects and for the rider to gain more confidence in how they should ride and handle their spooky horses resulting in a more trusting relationship between horse and rider. We will use obstacles that are already at the arena.
Please bring a lunch and please bring water for your horse. Although there are plans to have water available on site later this summer, it has not happened yet so please plan on bringing water for you and your horse.
Registration: Send a deposit of $60 to reserve your spot by June 1, 2017. Make checks payable to DRHC and send to Laura Pratt; 186 Downing Rd, Washington, VT 05675.
